| Adding barcodes to a PowerBuilder application is not as difficult as you
may think. The best way is to buy a True Type barcode font and using a datawindow change
the font of the barcode column to the barcode font. A combination of this with the
font.escapement attribute can produce brilliant effects. Bear in mind that you will need
to install the font on all machines that will run the software. There are a number of
vendors who sell True Type fonts and if all you are after is basic bar codes then there
are some equally capable Public Domain and Shareware fonts for those people on a budget.
