New to PowerBuilder 5.0 were the preferences dialogs inside each painter.
These dialogs not only replaced the preferences painter window but also added some new
preferences that were not available under older versions.
If you load the database painter and either select the DB Preferences toolbar icon or
select Design then Options from the menu, you will see the Database Preferences dialog.
One of the great features here for team development is the ability to share Database
Profiles. Just click the browse button and browse to the location of your shared database
profile and now you have access to all your teams database definitions. |
