The query execution history alone is a huge time saver.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PBL Peeper<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.techno-kitten.com\">www.techno-kitten.com<\/a>) PB object browser<br \/>A must have tool for the Powerbuilder developer unless you only work on very small applications. I don&#8217;t use the Find in Current App functionality since this can hang up but otherwise very helpful. The Lists functionality alone is worth having this tool installed.<\/p>\n<p>Update March 2021: <a href=\"https:\/\/pbl-peeper.software.informer.com\/\">Find PBL Peeper here<\/a>.\u00a0 You may have to install msvcp71.dll and msvcr71.dll for it to run (can be found via internet search).<\/p>\n<p><strong>PicPick<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.picpick.org\">www.picpick.org<\/a>) &#8211; screen capture and image manipulator<br \/>I&#8217;ve used many of these over the years but this is my current favorite.<\/p>\n<p><strong>PBSearch<\/strong> (<a href=\"http:\/\/www.topwizprogramming.com\">www.topwizprogramming.com<\/a>) &#8211; PB object search, browser, updater.\u00a0 Absolutely must have this tool if you are serious about PowerBuilder.\u00a0 Does what PBL Peeper does.<\/p>\n\n\n<p>Updated March 2021<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This is a listing of the tools I use frequently at my job to get things done faster and more effectively.
