Frogpond - A Child's Game
Copyright 2009-2010 by Matthew Balent

This is a simple game for preschool to early elementary aged kids.

The object is to move the frog around the pond to eat the flys.
You can move the frog by clicking on a space next to him or by 'drag/drop'.
The frog eats a fly by hopping on it.
The frog may also eat a fly in an adjacent hex by 'right clicking' on it.
When the frog eats a fly he croaks (if you have sound).
The frog can only hop one space at a time.

The game board is 20 by 20 spaces.

To use, unzip all the files into a single directory and then click on frogpond.exe.

I've run it on Windows 2000, XP, Vista, and 7 with no issues.

Version 2 Notes:

The frog may eat a fly in an adjacent hex by 'right clicking' on it.

The 'Options' button allows you to choose a version to play, if you want the score saved between games, and the player's
name.

Choosing version 1 disables the 'right click' fly eating ability.

This version of Frogpond has been programmed in Powerbuilder 11.5.1.

Version 1 Notes:

Frogpond was programmed in Powerbuilder 9.
