Developing DataWindow Objects

The guidelines explained to Window objects also apply to the DataWindow objects. One more note in particular to DataWindow objects is to assign names to all the objects that you place manually on the DataWindow object. PowerBuilder automatically assign names to all the text objects created for the columns and column headings/labels. If you do not assign names for manually placed objects, translation utility does not translate the text.
