Moving and Resizing a Pane

To move a pane:

  1. Move the mouse pointer anywhere on to the pane's title bar (if the title bar is not visible, move on to the splitbar, titlebar will be displayed automatically)
  2. Hold down the left mouse button, and start moving the pane
  3. Drop the pane in the target pane.

The source pane displays as one of the tabbed pane in the target pane. If you drop the pane on the titlebar of another pane or on the split bar or on the status bar (if the target pane has one), then the source pane is inserted between the top and bottom or left and right panes and other panes are resized automatically to fit the inserted pane.

To move a tabbed pane, don't drag it from the titlebar, instead click on the tab (located at the bottom of the pane and displays the pane name) and drag it.

To resize a pane, simply click on the splitbar and drag it till you get the needed size. Please note that, other panes in that row/column are also resized.
